You Are Not Alone
You may see a business owner, a proud mother of three, and a staple in my community. In addition to all these things, I am a recovering alcoholic. I battled my addiction, unsuccessfully, for years as I navigated life. The scars of childhood trauma, the bruises of crippling stress, and an unquenched thirst for an unknown purpose in life led me down a path of chaos. It ultimately led to my arrest for driving under the influence. Hitting rock bottom after years of free falling into alcoholism was a gift. I had to take accountability. I had to look in the mirror and ask if this was the life I wanted for my kids and me.
Luckily, on this journey I had the financial means and a support system to help me find my way back to the right path in life. I set goals for myself. I reestablished a relationship with God. I sought professional help, and I began attending meetings. I am now 4 years sober.
Through this transition, I discovered my own passion and purpose. I want to help women who, like me, have reached rock bottom and need a helping hand to find their way. For the women who do not have the support or financial independence to do it alone… We Inspire.
